I need sleep :(

Friday I spent thirteen hours at the happiest place on earth!! I saw Aladdin the Musical and rode the Storybook Land Canal Boats and Columbia for the first time. Why have they not been in my life sooner? It was also my first time ever getting kicked off a ride for bad behavior (they really do like you to keep your manos and brazos inside the rides, even if you are joking when you encourage your friend to jump out of the Tower of Terror elevator). But, if it hadn't been for that, the missing mouseketeers, and the Splash Mountain remodel, it would have been a SUPER fun day.

Saturday me and some girlfriends went out to Manhattan Beach for Cafe Rio gorge time. Gag, I can't remember the last time I finished a Cafe Rio salad. Sunday was lazy church loungy day. Monday night was Bachelorfest... awwww perfect ending! I forced myself to stay awake and find out who the next Bachelorette was. If only I was strong enough to boycott the next season. I blame Ashley for my five hours of sleep last night.

Right now I'm sitting next to a box of Trader Joe's French Truffles and they are NOT good company. Regardless, I'm on a mission to find an activity for Henry and I today. I'm searching the heck out of gocitykids.com and right now it's between the Rhythm Child and Twinkle Time concerts. They both sound so fun...

I have baldy eyes!

I've heard more than once that eyelash extensions can be addictive. Too bad I didn't consider that at ALL when my friend Sahar took me to a salon to get temporary eyelashes. I loved them way too much the very first time to ever go without. But, when I decided to take them off before my second appointment, they were not very nice to my real lashes. Good thing the new set covered that right up! After a couple weeks they started looking like crinkled spider legs again, so I made the decision to upgrade to nice crinkle free lashes that required going to a spa and prepaying for my appointment.

I paid extra to have them take the old nasty lashes off, for fear of ripping out any more of my real little guys. Turns out, that can't really be avoided, and even after the technician used special solution I still ended up nearly bald after having those cling-ons pried off. She told me I had to wait for them to grow back before I could do anything else and talked me into buying some eyelash conditioner to help them grow in. So now I look like an insane person with my few stray lashes poking out in all kinds of different directions. Is it wrong that I still have an appointment booked in the future to go back? I'm having extension withdrawals...

I'm vegging out!

I am beyond horrible at healthy eating. Okay, it's not that terrible... Thanks to family dinner night I get to eat a diabetic friendly home cooked meal twice a week... and occasionally my adopted father stuffs me full of persian food that puts me in a coma! But, cooking for one is ridiculous and I refuse to do it. So, I instead subject myself to Lean Cuisine and cold cereal dinners...and sometimes frozen Uncrustables. Yum! Lately it's been really bugging me how unbalanced my meals at home are. So, during my most recent shopping trip, I attempted to crack down. I got frozen veggies, fruit, chicken, lunch meat, eggs etc. Honestly, it's easier to buy the food than to actually eat it before it goes bad, but I'm proud to say that today was a minor success in Chelsea balanced eating. I definitely had cereal for breakfast, but instead of snacking all day through lunch and dinner, I had a chicken wrap for lunch and just finished chicken apple sausage with peas and corn for dinner. I think it will soon be time to part ways with those delish It's-It ice cream sandwiches that I claimed I didn't really like. Just kidding, I love them too much!

It's raining.

I recently learned, that when it snows in Utah, it rains in Los Angeles. Last friday I went on a rainy, late night excursion to Disneyland with a friend. I wore long jeans with flats and needless to say, they were soaked after ten minutes. I'm never prepared for bad weather, especially not rainy weather. So, after plenty of suffering I finally decided it was time to spoil myself! I went shopping with my friend Maria and set my heart on a pair of adorable navy rain boots with a yellow zipper at Steve Madden. I'm a really indecisive shopper and I constantly feel buyers remorse, so I decided to keep looking. Right before we left, we waltzed into Macy's where they were having a shoe sale. I found the same boots for 15% off! Any sale puts me on a shopping high, so it completely sealed the deal. They are my first ever pair of rain boots and they smell like brand new rubbery tires. Mmm. Can't wait to splash in puddles!

I've missed you.

Since we talked last I've moved from New York City to Utah, to Santa Monica, and have now landed in sunny Los Angeles. I still have a hard time understanding how I became a nanny of four little blonde children, one of whom has taken up residence on my hip and constantly reminds me that my own children probably won't be as adorable. So, I've decided to only date guys with adorable faces who could create a more perfect gerber baby.
Is that possible?
